This summer, I had the chance to visit the impressive National Museum of the United States Air Force. Part of this visit was to further a community project from the VSN Group. Which aims to recreate the Century Series of aircraft for the Digital Combat Simulator platform. I had the opportunity not only to get close, but to take my camera into the cockpit of this flying legend of the Vietnam war.

Some of the photos at the end were taken last year at the Valiant Air Command Museum in Florida while I was out doing a similar project for the F-104 Starfighter. Though I did not have access to the cockpit, I did get some valuable shots of the art as well as the Ram Air Turbine and clear shots of the M-61A1 Vulcan Cannon housed in the nose of the aircraft.

I would like to thank the National Museum of the United States Air Force for their immense help and cooperation with this project. Special thanks to Mr. Patrick D. Hannon for helping organizing everything.
